Dispatchers use advanced radio and computer systems to coordinate responses, monitor field activity, and maintain situational awareness at all times.
Beyond call handling, dispatchers play a key role in officer and firefighter safety by tracking units, relaying critical information, and prioritizing incidents as they evolve. Every decision made in the communications center has a direct impact on response outcomes and public safety.
