At Addison Consolidated Dispatch Center (ACDC), we serve as the critical link between the public and emergency responders. Our telecommunicators handle 9-1-1 and non-emergency calls, quickly gathering information, prioritizing incidents, and dispatching the appropriate police, fire, or EMS resources.

Using advanced communication systems and real-time data, we coordinate responses for multiple agencies simultaneously, ensuring accurate information is relayed to first responders in the field. From routine calls for service to high-risk, rapidly evolving incidents, our team maintains constant situational awareness and clear communication to support effective decision-making.

ACDC also serves as the dispatch center for MABAS Division 10, coordinating large-scale fire and mutual aid responses across the region when additional resources are needed.

Beyond dispatching, we provide additional support services, including 211 call handling and coordination for Northern Illinois Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) callouts. Every function we perform is focused on one goal: delivering timely, reliable service that enhances public safety and supports the responders who rely on us.
